Sensitive Skin

Because I am a BzzAgent, I got to try out a couple of new products from Burt Bees!
The first product was the Sensitive Skin Cleanser.
The first thing I noticed about this cleanser is that it did not feel like a cleanser at all--there is no soap in it and it doesn't bubble up like you expect a cleanser to do. It felt like I was rubbing a cream on my face, which wasn't bad. It was just different. I kind of liked it! I even have a friend who is allergic to sodium laurel sulfate, which is what causes the bubbles in a lot of cleansing products, so it would be a great product for her!
I loved knowing that what I was putting on my face was natural and there were no chemicals or anything in the product.
The one thing I didn't like about this product was that it didn't do a great job of removing my eye makeup. I would have to use it multiple times or else just use a different cleanser when I had heavier eye make up on.

The next product I got to try was the Daily Moisturizing Cream.

I loved this product! It was so light and I couldn't even feel it on my skin.
The one thing I would have liked to see different, which might not work because it is for sensitive skin, was a sunblock added. My skin is very sensitive to the sun and I burn easily and so I would have liked a 15 spf added into the moisturizer. I understand though that for some people that might cause more problems for their skin because of it being so sensitive and it's probably not all natural ingredients like they have in their skin. So I guess I would have to use a different product for my little bit of sunscreen! Maybe they could offer one that contains that in it though? Just a thought.

The Eyes Have It

These are my eyes. Sorry about the funny picture. I tried for at least half an hour to take a picture of only my eyes, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to focus, so finally I opted for the top part of my head...
In the picture, the eye on the left is wearing Mary Kay mascara.
The eye on the right is wearing Cover Girl lashblast fusion mascara.
As a BzzAgent, I get to try products for free and give my opinion of them--I was very excited to try mascara!
I thought I would be a harsh critic because I have almost always used Mary Kay mascara and not mascara you buy at the grocery store.
I was pleasantly surprised by Cover Girl lashblast fusion. The wand is shaped a little bit differently, so it was a little bit tricky to feel comfortable putting it on. But I have been pleased with the results--it actually does add more volume to my eyelashes. In the above picture, I'm not sure if you can tell a difference--but I can. I think my eye with Cover Girl Lashblast fusion mascara looks more pronounced and the eyelashes look fuller than with Mary Kay, partially because it is a little bit clumpier...but it doesn't come across that way.
The only bad thing about this mascara is that it runs really easily. So if your eyes water when you are chopping onions...it will make a mess of your face and your sweet toddler son will ask if your eyes hurt.
So...I recommend trying the waterproof mascara.
If you are looking to save some money without scrimping on quality--Covergirl Lashblast Fusion is a great mascara to try!

Cover Girl Blast

Because I am a BzzAgent, I get to try new products and give my opinion about them. In the video above, you can see tips on how to apply the products for a great look.
This has been my favorite product from BzzAgent yet! I got to try the Covergirl Smoky Shadow Blast for eyes, and the Shine Blast for lips.
The Shine Blast lipgloss really is full of shine! It only added a faint tint of color to my lips, which I liked since I prefer a more natural look most of the time. I felt like it was moisturizing my lips when I use it as well! I was very happy with this product and would like to try other colors!
I really love the Smoky Shadow Blast for eyes! If you are in a hurry, you can quickly apply it or throw it in your purse and apply when you get a chance--no brushes needed! It takes a little practice, but it does give a great smoky eye. When I have more time, I like to apply it over another light eye shadow and use my brushes to blend it in even more. The best part of using this was that my husband told me he liked it! For me, that is a keeper. I have really enjoyed this product and would also like to try other colors. I will definitely buy and use this in the future!

Aveeno Baby

I have mentioned before that I am a member of BzzAgent, and get to try products and review them. This time I was able to try some great Aveeno Baby products! I have already been hooked on the Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion because my baby use to have really bad excema and this was the only lotion I found that helped. BzzAgent sent me some samples of the Aveeno Baby Essential Moisture Shampoo and Soothing Relief Diaper Rash Cream.
I noticed right away that the shampoo made my babe's hair softer. He also had cradle cap, and I think using the Aveeno Baby shampoo helped with that. It cleared up faster than before and hasn't returned.
The diaper rash cream was also great, it is fragrance free and clears up diaper rash very quickly. It also helps to prevent it as well.
I am not usually brand loyal, but I really love all of the Aveeno Baby products.

Softsoap Nutri Serums

I recently joined a program called BzzAgent where you get to try new products, review them, and share them with others. Unfortunately, I can't give you cyber samples to try online...but I can tell you what I think of Softsoap Nutri Serums body wash! I absolutely love it! The first time that I tried it, it felt like a moisturizer going on my skin. It smells fantastic--light and fresh. When I went to rinse it off, I thought it wasn't coming off all the way because it immediately left my skin feeling so moist. So moist and soft in fact, I didn't feel like I needed to use a moisturizer afterward! This is a perfect body wash for the dry, winter months. I absolutely would buy it and use it everyday.
So here's the deal : while I can't give you a cyber sample, I can give you a chance to win Amazon.com gift certificates. If you go to ChatThreads.com and enter this Conversation ID #: 101 763 990120
you will be entered to win gift certificates worth $100 -$1000. If you talk to someone about Softsoap Nutri Serums, tell them to do the same!
