Right now I love...

I have longed to take a floral design class for many years now...but now I live in a place where things like that are just simply not offered. But I love this tutorial, how easy to make your house beautiful!

Recently I have been wanting to try Boston Cream Pie...I've really never had it! Here is a "lighter" or healthier version...I think it looks great!

I would love to make some of these for our upcoming arrival!

Yummy Finds

I love making things I might buy at a restaurant at home for so much cheaper! Tuscan Garlic Chicken. It looks delicious!

I am planning on making these soon! I've been wanting to try homemade oreos for a long time!

I can't wait to make one of these for my little superman! He loves to fly around and be superman, how much more fun would it be with a cool cape?

All about St. Patrick's Day

I'm excited...can you tell?

I want to make one of these cute shirts in green of course! for my little leprechaun. :)

I made these last year but was lacking a shamrock cookie cutter...I'm excited to make them again!

I love ice cream sandwiches! How fun that you can make these for yourself, and make them for any holiday!
I think this is going to be our St. Patrick's Day dinner...it looks good and healthy too!

I like these cute little gift ideas for St. Patrick's Day! Check them out at this awesome website.

I think it would be fun to make Lime tarts for St. Patrick's day too...or maybe key lime pie?

Light Inspiration

I am in love with this idea from Simply Modern Mom. This would be perfect for out house!

If you're still looking for some ideas for Valentine's Day...here are some more great ones!

How fun would it be to make personalized snowglobes! I love this great idea! You can go here for full instructions, including a video.
Homemade Circus Animal cookies!! Of course for Valentine's day, I would probably do heart shapes instead of circus animals...

I love this envelope! How fun would it be to put a coupon for something special in each pocket?

I love this Valentine yahtzee game! How fun would that be for a family activity? Or even just something a little different for you and your sweetheart!

I love this as a garland! This is made of fabric--check it out here.

I have seen this idea in a few different places, including Martha Stewart, but this image and instructions come from here. I can't wait to make crayon hearts to hang in our windows!

I love this fun, easy way to make a candy dish a little more elegant? Check it out here.

I really like this idea! You could again do a countdown until the day, or give it all at once...how personal and sweet at the same time!

I found this tutorial today and am in love with it!

Baby Blankets

I'm having a baby. And I'm itching to make something cute and soft for my baby. Just found this great idea through Little Birdie Secrets (the pictures is from them too)! A self binding blanket! Love it! I'm going to have to try it out! Find the tutorial here.

More Pillows

I am in love with both of these beautiful pillows. Unfortunately after all these free tutorials, I don't really want to pay money to get the pattern...maybe someday in the future. Or I could figure it out on my own if I was really ambitious. For now I'll just admire them. :)

Beautiful Bedding

I am in love with this. I desperately want to make it for our bedroom now, which is in serious need of a make-over...or a make-up since it has never really been "made" into anything since we moved in. :)

Thinking Ahead...

...to December! I saw this amazing Advent Calender on my friend Chelsea's blog and love it! Just had to share. :) Go check out the amazing photographs of the ornaments!

Also go here if you need ideas for Holiday Traditions!

Feathers

It's that time of year we get to think about feathers...or at least turkeys, and they have feathers. :) Once upon a time I made a dream catcher and recently have been wondering how I did that so I could make another one. I was happy to find this tutorial to make your own dream catcher!
I have feathers hanging from the one I made long ago, and I think you should definitely add some to yours if you make one!

I love this cute turkey applique on a t-shirt! Do you think if you used different fabrics it could be cute for a boy too? This one is definitely girly... Find the info on how to do this here.
Enjoy your feathers!

Princess Dresses

Um...how adorable is this? These tutorials (and pictures) are from this awesome new blog I found: crafterhours! They look simple and made me realize how incredibly un-creative I am...good thing I don't have a girl (I'm pretty nervous for when/if that day comes) to ask me to come up with ideas like this!
