Sensitive Skin

Because I am a BzzAgent, I got to try out a couple of new products from Burt Bees!
The first product was the Sensitive Skin Cleanser.
The first thing I noticed about this cleanser is that it did not feel like a cleanser at all--there is no soap in it and it doesn't bubble up like you expect a cleanser to do. It felt like I was rubbing a cream on my face, which wasn't bad. It was just different. I kind of liked it! I even have a friend who is allergic to sodium laurel sulfate, which is what causes the bubbles in a lot of cleansing products, so it would be a great product for her!
I loved knowing that what I was putting on my face was natural and there were no chemicals or anything in the product.
The one thing I didn't like about this product was that it didn't do a great job of removing my eye makeup. I would have to use it multiple times or else just use a different cleanser when I had heavier eye make up on.

The next product I got to try was the Daily Moisturizing Cream.

I loved this product! It was so light and I couldn't even feel it on my skin.
The one thing I would have liked to see different, which might not work because it is for sensitive skin, was a sunblock added. My skin is very sensitive to the sun and I burn easily and so I would have liked a 15 spf added into the moisturizer. I understand though that for some people that might cause more problems for their skin because of it being so sensitive and it's probably not all natural ingredients like they have in their skin. So I guess I would have to use a different product for my little bit of sunscreen! Maybe they could offer one that contains that in it though? Just a thought.

Pencil Power

I love makeup. It makes me feel pretty. I really liked this video that showed different ways you can use makeup pencils--I didn't even know some of these existed!

The Eyes Have It

These are my eyes. Sorry about the funny picture. I tried for at least half an hour to take a picture of only my eyes, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to focus, so finally I opted for the top part of my head...
In the picture, the eye on the left is wearing Mary Kay mascara.
The eye on the right is wearing Cover Girl lashblast fusion mascara.
As a BzzAgent, I get to try products for free and give my opinion of them--I was very excited to try mascara!
I thought I would be a harsh critic because I have almost always used Mary Kay mascara and not mascara you buy at the grocery store.
I was pleasantly surprised by Cover Girl lashblast fusion. The wand is shaped a little bit differently, so it was a little bit tricky to feel comfortable putting it on. But I have been pleased with the results--it actually does add more volume to my eyelashes. In the above picture, I'm not sure if you can tell a difference--but I can. I think my eye with Cover Girl Lashblast fusion mascara looks more pronounced and the eyelashes look fuller than with Mary Kay, partially because it is a little bit clumpier...but it doesn't come across that way.
The only bad thing about this mascara is that it runs really easily. So if your eyes water when you are chopping onions...it will make a mess of your face and your sweet toddler son will ask if your eyes hurt.
So...I recommend trying the waterproof mascara.
If you are looking to save some money without scrimping on quality--Covergirl Lashblast Fusion is a great mascara to try!
